What Basestations will Tundra Tracker be compatible with?

Simply put, Tundra Tracker will support both Gen 1.0 Basestations made by HTC and Gen 2.0 Basestations made by Valve. More technically the Tundra Tracker hardware is capable of decoding Sync on Beam and backwards compatible with the 1.0 "Blink Sync".
Will we be able to use more than 4 basestations to get larger volumes?
